Ever wanted to try your hand at playwriting and have it performed by Contexture theatre?

The Herts & Essex Festival of Playwriting helps to develop new writing talent in our region and culminates in a special showcase of the best entries in which the previous year's winner will be performed.

​

There are three age categories:  Primary - 10 and under, Secondary - 11 to 18 and adult - 18 and over.

​

All you have to do is write a 15-20 minute play in the autumn preceding the festival.
